Pharaoh Aton XVI

    Aton is the sixteenth in the line of Ecameral Pharaohs. He became Pharaoh after his father, Aton XV, was poisoned by his own wife, Lady Irisu. Aton had no choice but to execute his mother (and all the co-conspirators) and succeed his father. Aton sought to make his father proud, so he trained with the palace guards to become a formidable fighter. He began building the mecha, Atonic Anubis, in order to conquer the lands around him in Dimension 2, but stopped production on it because he felt an extreme loneliness in his palace. He decided that the cure for his loneliness was a queen, so he traveled the lands in search of a woman to marry. In Mismo, a small monarchy outside of the Ecameral Frost Desert, Aton spotted the Princess Eterina and realized that she was the one for him. He abducted Eterina and took her back to his palace with plans to marry her.

    Aton is known in Dimension 2 as "the Idle Pharaoh" because he seemingly never leaves the frost desert and has not made any moves toward conquering anything since becoming Pharaoh. He is somewhat of a joke to outsiders, but due to a strong sense of arrogance instilled in him by his father, Aton truly believes that he is feared throughout the land. He has an intense belief that raiders are coming to overthrow him, so he has filled his palace and surrounded the desert with his Atonic Guards and hired the fierce Geizen nomads to protect him. However, the Ecameral area is extremely cold, so the weather is what mostly keeps the invaders out.
