Xelsis Shirou, King of the Dark Mages

    Xelsis Shirou, or XS, as he is sometimes called, is a dark magician from Dimension 2. He is the successor to the former King of the Dark Mages, Lord Apregma. XS trained under Apregma for ten years, and, after all of his hard work and loyalty, was chosen to take Apregma's place as the master. Unfortunately, Apregma was killed by another one of his students before he was able to teach XS the final Dark Spells that he needed. However, in a Hamlet-esque turn of events, Apregma's soul came to XS and told him of the murder, asking to be avenged and resurrected. Xelsis obeyed his master and killed his murderer. Now, XS has found a way to bring Apregma back to life, and he will stop at nothing to complete his training and become the true King of the Dark Mages.

    Xelsis is a highly-skilled warlock capable of causing much chaos and destruction. He wields the Universe Crystal, an extremely powerful crystal ball that amplifies his magic power with its own mysterious energy. XS and his legion of Dark Mages are known and feared throughout Dimension 2. Although he is only the King by default, XS' vast knowledge of magic is unsurpassed, making it difficult to fight against him. People who know nothing of magic are easily defeated at his hands. He is, however, somewhat physically weak, and knows very little about hand-to-hand combat.

    Xelsis Shirou is an alternate version of Neon City VI's Dark Mage, Xelsis Shalt. I liked that character so much that I decided to bring him back, but not as the same character. The two mages are not related or connected in any way as far as the story goes.
